Later she also produced reality show for the MTV by the name of, Dance Life about the lives of six aspiring dancers. She is the executive producer of a miniseries in Univisión named after her CD “Como Ama Una Mujer”(2007).

Her foray into music happened with her debut album in 1999 which was a smash hit. She had taken out since then three more studio albums, J. Lo (2001), This Is Me… Then
(2002), Rebirth (2005) with hit singles like “Waiting for Tonight”, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “Get Right”. Besides this, she even took out one remix album and a Spanish album. She has also earned various music awards too.

JENNIFER LOPEZ - LOPEZ JEALOUS OF EX'S FLIRTING WITH VETERAN BRIT ALMOST TWICE HIS AGE

JENNIFER LOPEZ was so jealous during her marriage to CRIS JUDD, she once exploded with rage when she caught him talking to veteran British pop-star-turned-TV presenter CILLA BLACK.
The incident happened at the Royal Variety Performance in London in 2001, early in Lopez and Judd's doomed marriage - when he was 31 and one-time Sixties starlet Black was 58-years-old.
Now 65, Black reveals, "I'd met Cris before, and when he saw me backstage at the show, he came over for a flirt. J.Lo saw us and started fuming.
She was screaming to her entourage, 'What's that woman doing with my man? Get rid of her! It was so funny."
After her 10-month marriage to dancer Judd failed, Lopez dated Ben Affleck before making singer Marc Anthony her third husband in 2004.

Jennifer Lopez trying to make one more baby with Marc

Jennifer Lopez is "trying to make one more baby" with husband Marc Anthony.

The 39-year-old actress - who welcomed her first children, twins Max and Emme, into the world in February - is said to be desperately trying to conceive again.

A source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly magazine: "They were advised to wait six months after she gave birth. They listened to their doctor's advice, but now they're trying to make one more baby.

"Jennifer can't believe how much she loves motherhood. Of course, she always knew she wanted to be a mom one day, but she wasn't quite prepared for the overwhelming joy these children have given her or how it's really cemented her relationship with Marc. She would love a full house!"

Jennifer recently revealed becoming a mother had altered her "whole perspective on life".

She said: "It has changed me very much. It really prioritised what you thought was important and what was not so important.

"But it's great because it makes you very focused on the things in your life that you need to concentrate on. It makes it very simple. Teething and crawling and sitting up - amazing."

Jennifer Lopez dishes on her past dating life

Jennifer Lopez said she had to kiss a lot of frogs before landing her prince - puny Latin crooner Marc Anthony. “I have been in a few challenging (relationships),” Lopez, 39, told The Women’s Conference in Long Beach, Calif. yesterday “I have been in relationships that can make you doubt who you are and what you are capable of, and doubt what you deserve. It took me a bit little longer to get it right.” The singer/actress, who didn’t name names, according to People.com, has been married twice, dated Sean “Diddy” Combs and was engaged to Ben Affleck. Musician converts part of his New York home

Jennifer Lopez's husband Marc Anthony presented her with her own beauty parlour at the weekend.

The musician secretly installed a nail bar and deluxe make-up station in part of his New York mansion.

It is thought he wanted to thank Jen for giving birth to twins Max and Emme nine months ago.

‘Marc is always big on romantic gestures, but this was his most impressive yet,’ a source tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘She’s been gushing to everyone about what a great guy she married.’

Jennifer, 39, and Marc, 40, recently renewed their wedding vows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony renewed their vows in Las Vegas on Sunday, according to People.com.

More than four years after saying "I do," Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony secretly renewed their vows in Las Vegas early yesterday, according to People.com.

And People.com reports they weren't alone.

When it came to saying their "I dos" again, Lopez and Anthony doubled the fun, joining New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica for a joint ceremony, People.com reports.

The Web site quotes a source as saying that Beltran gave his wife a specially engraved ring and gave the two singers "special rings as gifts." "Carlos and Jessica renewed their vows first, then Jennifer and Marc went," the sources said.

The two couples renewed the vows at Caesars Palace's Forum Tower Penthouse at 3:15 a.m. Sunday after a night at Pure Nightclub, a rep for the hotel confirmed to the online Web site. The service was officiated by the Rev. Steven Smith and was witnessed by two friends.
"It was totally a spur-of-the-moment thing," a source said. "They decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling for ministers."

The renewal ceremony comes after the couple spent the previous evening club-hopping in Las Vegas and taking in a show. Most in the city believed the couple was in the city to celebrate Anthony's birthday from last month.
"[Marc] said they were in town for his birthday and they wanted to celebrate," said a source who talked to the couple.

On Friday, the couple headed to LAX Nightclub and The Bank after checking out Criss Angel's new Cirque Du Soleil show "Believe" -- all under the guise the couple was in town celebrating Anthony's birthday.

Lopez Denies Nervous Breakdown

AP Photo/Evan Agostini

A spokesperson for Jennifer Lopez has hit back at a journalist, denying reports the star suffered a nervous breakdown in 2002.

Reporter Kevin Sessums was commissioned by Elle magazine to profile Lopez but the publication dropped his initial interview with the star in favor of a more flattering piece amid complaints from her representatives that the interview "got much too personal."

Sessums' interview was subsequently picked up by the new Web site The Daily Beast.

In the article, the writer alleges that Lopez struggles as a new mom, expresses her desire to send her eight-month-old twins with husband Marc Anthony to a school specializing in Scientology, and opens up about the "kind of nervous breakdown" she suffered in 2002 while filming her movie "Enough."

Sessums recounts Lopez's ruminations on motherhood, quoting her as saying: "I did cry a lot (after the babies were born) because I was having so much trouble moving. I had a C-section. I couldn't get up fast enough to feed the babies. It went on for about three days. Marc was helping out a lot and I was crying and crying and going, 'Oh, Papi, they're going to know everybody more than me. ... They're going to love everybody more than me!'"

According to the New York Post, Sessums pitched the interview to Lopez as "a fashion discussion about a woman who had new babies and was doing it all."

But a spokesperson for the star insists she was misled, adding: "We're very unhappy about it, and think it was poor judgment on his part. As long as we have represented Jennifer, we have never heard her refer to having a breakdown of any sort."

As WENN went to press, Sessums and a spokesperson for Elle had not returned request for comment.

Jennifer Lopez Hits the Gym

Now that she’s settled into her newfound motherhood a bit, Jennifer Lopez has put her mind to getting back in shape. And she was spotted on her way to a local gym yesterday to do just that. The “Waiting for Tonight” babe sported a maroon silkscreened hooded sweatshirt and black skin-tight Capri workout shorts as she chatted on her mobile phone on her way to a Beverly Hills workout facility.

And it’s no coincidence that J Lo is getting more fitness conscious as of late. According to reports, she’s signed on for several new acting projects, so getting back into A-list shape is of top priority.
Lopez will be starring in “The Governess,” a romantic comedy about a woman who poses as a nanny to pull off a major bank heist. She’ll also star in “Love and Other Possible Pursuits.”

Breaking News: Jennifer Lopez Stepped in Dog Doo

LONG ISLAND, NY - Jennifer Lopez stepped in dog excrement this morning as she exited a Starbucks near her home, according to the local authorities. “Dispatch notified me at 0900 hours, and myself and another patrol car responded "said East Hampton Police Officer Sal Delfino. “When we arrived, Miss Lopez was visibly distressed. We assessed the situation and then summoned an ambulance.”

According to eyewitnesses, when the paramedics arrived they immediately stabilized Lopez’s foot and began to resuscitate her shoe. “It was a black suede Manolo Blahnik pump with a t-strap,” said Lila Fitz, who was also at the Starbucks buying coffee when the incident occurred. “J. Lo was was in hysterics, and I don’t blame her. She should never be subjected to the same things we regular folk do. And poop is hard to get off genuine Italian Blond calf-leather soles.”
The quick response time was apparently sufficient and the shoe is expected to make a full recovery. “Piece of cake,” Said Su-Chin Wu, the expert shoe repairer to whom the Manolo was brought. “Doo-doo old and dry. Not so stinky even.”

Lopez’s rep released the following statement: “Jennifer is understandably upset over the egregious incident that should never have happened to a celebrity of her stature. She thanks her fans and the city of East Hampton for their concern, and looks forward to a quiet evening at home with Max, Emme, and Marc.”

Bikini after babies: Jennifer Lopez slips back into a two-piece

She gained more than three stone while pregnant with twins Max and Emme, but less than five months later Jennifer Lopez has slipped back into a bikini. The 38-year-old singer stripped down to a string two-piece while holidaying aboard a luxury boat in Italy.

She was joined by husband Marc Anthony, who showered her with affection as she cooled off in the sea, as well as friend and fashion designer Stefano Gabbana.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony: Out In NYC

Looking the oh-so-swanky couple, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were spotted out in New York City over the Father’s Day weekend - leaving a private function arm-in-arm. Lopez recently returned to the Big Apple following a short trip to the nation’s capital this past week, during which she met with senators about healthcare and education issues. While there were reports that Lopez was actually there to meet Barack Obama’s staff, a representative the 38-year-old South Bronx native denied these claims.

“Tuesday afternoon, Ms. Lopez was on (Capitol) Hill with her sister to meet with staff members of several senators to discuss issues she is interested in, such as healthcare and education,” her rep told People. “She did visit Obama’s office, but the senator was not there. She did not meet him, but did discuss healthcare with members of his staff.
“She just came in for the meeting and departed,” Obama’s spokesman confirmed. “It was not campaign-related.”

'Fall' gorgeous but convoluted

Imagine "The Bucket List" if it were really shot in all those exotic locales the geezers supposedly visited. Now, imagine "The Bucket List" with a terribly told story. Put them both together and you've got "The Fall," a gorgeous piece of globe-trotting adventure with the imaginative discipline of a bacterium. Based on an obscure Bulgarian movie, this is the second film directed by music video (R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion") and commercials wiz Tarsem Singh. His first was theJennifer Lopez whatsit "The Cell," which was pretty good-looking and surrealistically inane, too.

The director tops himself in both categories here.
Marvelous backgrounds — remote mountains, dense rain forests, windblown deserts, pyramids, ancient cities — were filmed in 18 countries over four years. Production design and cinematography are appropriately lush, in a spare-no-expense magazine-shoot kind of way. Eiko Ishioka's costumes deserve special mention for their witty, otherworldly and sensuously tactile qualities. They're the most inspired, original things in the movie.

The story had potential, although the real part of it boils down to the old "Wizard of Oz" trick, in which aspects of people's lives manifest in a wild, symbolic and — hopefully — enlightening fiction.

Affleck Hated J.Lo Video

Hollywood actor Ben Affleck regrets starring in ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez's music video - because it nearly ruined his career. Affleck, 35, began dating the Latina singer in 2002 and later that year, he made a cameo in her music video Jenny From The Block. In the promo, the actor can be seen rubbing sun tan lotion onto Lopez's bottom. In the following years, the couple's high-profile romance proceeded to cross over from the tabloids onto the big screen, culminating in the 2003 box office flop Gigli.

And the Pearl Harbor star is now convinced bringing his personal life into the spotlight was damaging to his career
He says, "If I have a big regret, it was doing the music video. But that happened years ago. I've moved on." But Affleck insists he isn't blaming Lopez for his career nosedive: "It not only makes me look like a petulant fool (to blame Lopez), but it surely qualifies as ungentlemanly. For the record, did she hurt my career? No." The pair became engaged in 2002 but called off their relationship in 2003.

Jennifer Lopez loves Aussie teddy bears

CELEBRITY endorsements are always good for business, and in this case, the smaller the star, the better. The folk at Aussie children's products company Minimink nearly fell off their faux-fur rugs when they saw their bears feature in the worldwide exclusive first pics of Jennifer Lopez and her tiny twins Max and Emme.

The photo shoot, which People mag allegedly shelled out an astronomical $US6 million for, shows the twins lying in a cot with one of the Minimink teddies resting on a pillow behind them.
Apparently J-Lo bought 16 of the $18 bears, which begs the question . . . just how many kids is she planning on having?

Jennifer Lopez Copying Hubby

The singer and new mom appeared out over the weekend looking-.skinny! It's just not fair! The woman gave birth to twins only a month ago and she appeared to have lost all of her baby weight. How can that be possible? Oh, yeah. The millions of dollars in reserve for personal trainers, a gym, exercise equipment and not to mention the nannies to care for the kids while she works out.

But I digress. Why the hurry to get so thin so fast? Can't a woman enjoy her fat body for a few weeks and pretend to live like other women in this country? Jenny from the Block would keep twenty pounds on her hips for the rest of her life if she was normal.

Is she getting pressure from her skeleton looking husband to drop the weight? If so - back off! She popped out TWO kids. Let the woman be. Go sleep and get rid of the awful circles under our eyes. Speaking of which, does he look like he aged ten years during this pregnancy or what? He has that dazed, sleep deprived look that new parents have - except he already has a bunch of kids.
Kudos to Jennifer Lopez for looking fabulous already, even if we hate you for it.

Lose the J.Lo, Jennifer Lopez tells People magazin

DAILY NEWS STAFF : That's Jennifer to you. Jenny from the Block does not want to be called J.Lo - at least not in an upcoming People story.

Lopez demanded her most popular nickname be banned from an upcoming feature in People magazine, TMZ.com reported Friday afternoon.

The Bronx-born diva and newly-minted mom made nixing the moniker a condition when she granted People the rights to publish the first photos of her twins, Max and Emme.
People paid a reported $6 million for the privilege of running the baby pics.

The superstar from the block also reportedly stipulated that hubby Marc Anthony snap the photos himself.
"This is absurd, but thanks for the additional publicity on the pictures," said a People magazine spokeswoman about the reports. Representatives for Lopez were unavailable for comment.

The next step in Lopez's apparent quest to control how she's presented in glossy magazines? After her successes as a dancer, actor, singer, and fashion designer, perhaps celebrity reporter is up next. She can profile herself.

Jennifer Lopez names twins Emme and Max

LOS ANGELES (Reuters Life!) - Movie and recording star Jennifer Lopez and her husband, salsa singer Marc Anthony, have named their newborn twins Max and Emme, her manager told People magazine's Web site on Friday.

The brother and sister -- the first children born to the 38-year-old actress -- were delivered about 10 minutes apart last Friday at a Long Island hospital.

Emme, weighing 5.7 pounds (2.6 kg), arrived first at about 12 minutes past midnight, and Max was born at 12:23 a.m., tipping the scales at 6 pounds even (2.7 kg), Lopez's manager, Simon Fields, confirmed to People.com.

Lopez and Anthony, who has a daughter and two sons from two previous relationships, married in 2004. It is her third marriage. The couple starred together last year in "El Cantante," a film about salsa legend Hector Lavoe.

Jennifer Lopez Biography:

Jennifer Lopez's first serious screen role in Gregory Nava's 1995 Latino melodrama My Family followed years of training in television movies and series. Like Rosie Perez, Lopez began her career as a Fly Girl -- a dancer on the sketch comedy series, In Living Color -- and appeared in music videos by Puff Daddy and Janet Jackson. Her big break came in 1997 when she appeared in the title role of Nava's Selena, the story of the successful Tejano singer who was tragically murdered in 1995.

Lopez was at first cast as a femme fatale -- due in no small part to her classic Latina beauty (she was born in the Bronx to parents of Puerto Rican descent) -- and worked almost exclusively with acclaimed directors: Francis Ford Coppola (Jack, 1996), Oliver Stone (U-Turn, 1997), and Bob Rafelson (Blood and Wine, 1996). In 1998, she had one of her most acclaimed roles, starring opposite George Clooney in Out of Sight, Steven Soderbergh's adaptation the Elmore Leonard novel. Cast as a deputy federal marshal who falls for a charming criminal (Clooney), Lopez won raves for her tough, sexy performance, and in the process, she became the highest paid Latina actress in Hollywood history. That same year, she earned an introduction to a new generation of fans by lending her voice to the popular Antz (1998). The lavish but much more adult-oriented thriller The Cell (2000) followed shortly thereafter, bringing Lopez one of her first number-one openings.

In an attempt to curry favor from the rom-com crowd, Lopez lightened things up a bit opposite Matthew McConaughey in 2001's romantic comedy The Wedding Planner. Though Lopez was consistently smooth in her frequent transitions from actress to songstress, her next role in the supernatural romance Angel Eyes (2001) failed to click with audiences and critics alike, and her role in the cathartic revenge thriller Enough (2002) likewise disappeared from theaters shortly after its release. Though Maid in Manhattan (2002) was ultimately relegated to a similar fate as her last few films, few could anticipate the outright hostility with which her 2003 comedy Gigli would be greeted. In the movie, Lopez was cast as a female gangster assigned to keep an eye on a kidnapper (played by then-real-life-boyfriend Ben Affleck) who is holding a psychologically challenged young boy hostage. The harsh public backlash against the film was likely due (at least in part) to over-saturated media coverage of the duo's tumultuous off-screen relationship. Though the film's failure wasn't exactly what one would call a career-ender for either star, their shoddy onscreen dynamic reportedly led director Kevin Smith to excise most of Lopez' role in the Affleck-starrer Jersey Girl.

Finally, in 2005, it appeared the actress' string of bad box-office luck had possibly reached its end. Teaming up with Jane Fonda for the latter thespian's first feature in over a decade, Lopez scored a modest hit with the comedy Monster In-Law. The Lasse Hallstrom-helmed drama An Unfinished Life followed later the same year with Lopez opposite heavy-hitters Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman.

In 2006, Lopez tried her hand at producing with Bordertown, a thriller she also starred in opposite Antonio Banderas.

In addition to her screen work, Lopez has also enjoyed a successful singing career on the dance-pop circuit. Denise Sullivan, All Movie Guide

Jennifer Lopez is one popular lady.

Folk are queuing up to be godparents to her and Marc Anthony's bubba (possibly bubbas)-to-be. So much so, she may even have to hold auditions among her friends for the coveted roles. J.Lo's close mate actress Leah Remini told People magazine: "Me and my husband, Angelo Pagan, have asked for an audition for godparent roles, so at the moment we are waiting to hear back.

"We need about a day to prepare though." Joking aside, it got us thinking - what kind of qualities would it take to shine in an audition for the role of godparent to a world famous pop diva's baby? Well squeamish peeps need not apply - with all those dirty nappies, being a dab hand at defecation is fairly much essential.

Similarly, fashiony types such as J.Lo's mate Roberto Cavalli can take a hike - unless of course, they're willing to donate a hefty load of clothes to mum and baby, fresh off the catwalk. Hollywood party people like Victoria Beckham might just scrape through, if they're willing to curb their limelight ways for long enough to do a spot of babysitting to give J.Lo and her man her a much-needed break.

Basically the perfect candidate'll be an understanding type whom J.Lo can chat to in a four-in-the-morning crisis (Katie Holmes, perhaps) but also someone with a bit of a wild side to take the kid off her and Marc's hands once it hits the terrible teens (think Angelina Jolie more than Courtney Love). And FIY - any singing, dancing or booty-shaking abilities won't go unnoticed.
